Penelope Evans came from a family in which great home cooking was an everyday pleasure.
Her mother cooked and baked throughout her childhood and holidays were organised around tasting new food styles, and discussing them with family and friends.
This passion for food grabbed Penelope from a young age and only grew stronger as she turned it into her career and launched Penelope Evans Catering.
Now, with over 15 years of experience of private and commercial events, Penelope has developed a reputation for quality without compromise, creating tailor-made menus to suit clients’ individual needs and personal preferences.
If vegan is your thing, or you have guests who are kosher, Halal or intolerant to any specific ingredient, we’ll ensure that everything is seamlessly taken care of.

Based in Battersea, SW11, in the heart of the capital, we operate in London and across the Home Counties, including Battersea, Clapham, Tooting, Balham, Richmond, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, Kent, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, and our range of functions includes private dinners, an informal event and parties, engagements, weddings and anniversaries, plus corporate and business events including launches, conferences and landmark occasions.
If you have suitable premises and prefer to be in your own surroundings, we come to you. Alternatively, we’ll happily work off-site, in any appropriate location.
